Baker Park & Carroll Creek

After JUST popping the question, this couple wasted no time arranging to have their engagement photo session done. We met at Culler Lake and began our walk all the way to Carroll Creek Park, stopping along the way to intentionally capture the evening. There are so many cool pockets within the park to capture different moods and we did just that.

The willow trees made for a mellow and dramatic scene, and the light poles guiding the walkway made for playful props. As we walked to each photo spot, we were able to actually get to know each other and had time to ask follow-up questions that really brought down everybody’s walls as we realized how much we all had in common. It honestly made the session so much more fun. Can you believe they told me several times how awkward they are in front of the camera? Like, where?? 

It was also the perfect weather and evening, and so many people were out and about, enjoying the park and evenings like that remind me how much I freaking love this place and the people here.
